The Lob van Gennep plays an important role in the flood protection programme. This extensive project includes the reinforcement of dikes, the renovation of a lock and the redevelopment of the area. Within this complex context, INNOCY helps the Limburg Water Authority project team to structurally guarantee safety – from design to implementation and management.
The question
The water authority wants to better fulfil its legal responsibility as a client in the field of safety and thus contribute to the safe realisation of the project. Important points of attention are increasing safety awareness within the team and embedding safety as an integral part of design decisions. Cooperation with contractors in the field of safety must also be strengthened.
The solution
