Safety at and around stations is vital for passengers, employees and contractors. Within ProRail, the Stations cluster is responsible for management and maintenance as well as development and policy of station environments. INNOCY supports this cluster as a safety expert in the professionalization and standardization of Health & Safety (H&S) within the organization.
The question
Within the Stations cluster, there was a need for an unambiguous process to structurally put and keep H&S files in order. At the same time, safety awareness within the cluster must be increased, and there is a need for expert representation of the cluster in the broader H&S developments within ProRail.
The solution
INNOCY sets up the H&S process for cluster Stations and supervises the implementation in daily practice. We advise on a wide range of safety themes and make substantive contributions to working groups that are active throughout ProRail in the field of Safety & Health. By actively acting as a link between policy and implementation, we are able to put V&G on the map as a permanent and integral part of the work process.
The result
The Stations cluster has a uniform working method for drawing up and managing H&S files, fully in line with the broader ProRail organisation. Hereby:
